Copenhagen 15/9 2024. 50 cl bottle from Larsen Delikatesser, Bredgade, Herning. Kragelund usual label design in dark brown and yellow with Kragelunds logo in the center in gold. Some vanilla flowers in the background.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as 0,2 cm thick, unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and roasted odor mingling with a bitter scent. Sweet caramel, toffee, vanilla, lactose and bitter dark chocolate. Whiff of sour grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lighly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a pleasant sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Porter with a bit of sweet spice - but without overdoing it.
