Golden Ale is an easy-drinking and refreshing ale. Straw yellow in the glass with a white head, fermented with English yeast and spiced with the English hops Northdown and First Gold, which together give spicy fruity notes of orange in the aroma and taste.

Aarhus 24/7 2020. 50 cl bottle from Brdr. D Vinhandel, Nygade, Silkeborg. Kragelund’s usual label design with the logo that looks like the symbol from a obscure sect of Freemasons. Held in orange, gold and red.
Pours hazy yellow with a big stable white head. Settles as 4 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a light sweet odor of fruit and fresh scent of grass and citrus. Lemonade and oranges. White sugar.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, watery and almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong tart bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while.
Fresh and delicate nose but a bit flat and thin in flavor.
