Date code on bottle but I have no idea what it means: 710206.

Clear amber with very little head even with an aggressive pour. Not quite still but clearly not as carbonated as it should be. Minimal lacing with just a few specks left on the glass. Big Belgian yeast aroma with notes of bitter melon, stone fruit, white wine, and a bit of cloves and coriander. Pick up a bit of mint and evergreen that I assume is from the hops but not a distinctive hop note. The flavor has a little too much yeast phenols and combine this with the hop bitterness, does not make a good combination. Hints of grass, wintergreen, mint, pears, apples, cloves, and pepper. A lot going on and competition on the playing field. Almost flat carbonation does not help at all. Very disappointed in this bottle but should be an interesting beer if carbonated correctly.

The brewer has also made a Vinegoblin Saison which is 9% abv - this is a Belgian Pale Ale at 6.7% abv.
A: Hazy tea colored amber a 3” linen colored foam collar that dissipates quickly while gripping the side of the glass.
S: Tart ripe fruit, hints of banana. T: Bitter melon, candi sugar, fruity aftertastes – cherry, orange, pear. Citrusy hop bitter finish.
M: Very creamy and effervescent, medium light body, a vegetal astringency on the finish.
O: This is a fruity, hoppy Belgian style pale ale with a lot of character.
