L: Pours clear copper amber with fast rising bubbles under a fluffy to rocky 1.5” cream to light amber colored foam collar that has good retention.
S: Some tart light funk aromas, over ripe fruit, apple to pear with a hint of vanilla.
T: Has a moderately high tart palate with berries, over ripe fruit, moderate funk, no detectable alcohol. The malt flavors are medium to medium low. A mild hop bitterness brings some balance.
F: Has a slight astringency on the finish. The body is medium, tart and drying. The carbonation is high. The finish lingers with a tart, fruity lemony flavor and a slight suggestion of wine.
O: This is a very drinkable, refreshing lemony drink with a slight astringency on the finish. I would like it with a little more malt which would soften the lemon and bring out more of the berry character.
