I had this on draught at the brewery. It poured a deep mahogany, virtually black, with a creamy, mocha-colored head and lacing. I expected more of a smell but it was primarily black coffee. The taste was more interesting with hints of anise and dark fruit along with the roasted malt, burnt coffee grounds, and baker's chocolate. It has a typical porter feel with moderate carbonation and it has some punch with an ABV of 7.7%. Overall, it's a pretty good example of a Baltic Porter but it could be improved with some more smoke and a slightly richer mouthfeel.
