This is not a wee-heavy but a Heaven Hill barrel aged imperial pale ale with orange peel and ginger.
It's okay but not as complex as I would have guessed.
The spices and barrel ageing are there. The hops not so much. Quite malty overall

Hazy dark amber color with almost no head, aroma of red wine, bourbon, maybe ginger, taste is lightly bitter, lightly sweet with a sourish finish, medium body, soft carbonation, interesting cocktail.
