330 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 10.5%. Dark brown to black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of dark malts, chocolate and loads of maple syrup. Very sweet flavour, maple syrup galore, roast malts, chocolate and oak.

Light beige foam with medium texture, compact and persistent, dark brown body tending to black with splendid amber reflections. Sweet bouquet, caramel, milk chocolate, molasses, maple syrup, nuts, hints of vanilla. The palatal sensations fully resume the olfactory sensations with a nice herbaceous, woody and earthy hoppy finish. The aftertaste is a nice contrast between the sweet maple syrup and the hop, where neither of them prevails but they go hand in hand with a robust but gentle ethyl embrace. The body is decidedly full and velvety with low carbonation. Very elegant and well made beer.

Brown color with some reddish hues, creamy tan head. Aroma has cacao, caramel, fudge, maple syrup and some bourbon notes. Taste is sweet, quite maple forward, lots of sticky toffee and caramel, some earthy bitterness on the finish to balance the flavors. Full bodied, soft carbonation, feels really smooth. There is some alcohol warmth but it doesn't bother. Really tasty beer.

L - very dark ruby beige head, nice lacing
S - maple syrup, chocolate, caramel, some acidity, some esters
T - follow the smell with a nice pancake and maple presence. Nice complexity. Figs, nuts, dattes. Some acidity
M - semy dry mouthfeel, vivid carbonation
O - a really nice imperial brown ale with a nice complex taste. It gets better as it warms up
With an other batch in october 2019, the mouthfeel is very well improved. A bit thick but nothing over the top
