Definitely seemed like there couldnt be a brewery down this dark alley, but around the back of the building reveals several picnic tables and light strings pinpointing the brewery!
Walk in a glass door which is next to a garage bay door, (which I assume is open in the summer). Entering there is a rectangular bar with about 8 stools in the middle of the room. Several picnic tables are laid out on the inside. There is one large projection screen TV, playing Young Frankenstein when we visited. Brewing equipment is beyond the bar and bathrooms are off the left of the bar.
Beer options are some IPAs, a kolsch, imperial stout, festbier, a sour or maybe two, a pilsner, and one or two others I cant remember. You can order 8 oz pours or 16 oz.
Most of these are available in cans to go and there is a rum barrel aged maple porter and also a cocoa and coconut imperial stout in 500 ml bottles.
I drank the kolsch in house and found it biscuity and some lemon with easy drinking texture and carbonation. I purchased the porter and impy stout bottles to bring home. reviews forthcoming from me.
Place was dog friendly and staff were nice and knowledgeable. Also had several board games you could play while visiting the location.
I found this to be a pretty chill location and enjoyed the beers and general feel during the visit. Would visit again when in Portland.

I was beginning to think I was taken down a blind alley, dark and quiet. But there it was, all lit up and welcoming. Converted light industrial space, big garage doors, beer garden in the parking lot. Inside has a beer hall vibe, picnic tables. Low key but vibrant. Tasty beer, great service.

Cool little spot tucked away beyond a few other building in an industrial area just outside of downtown. Warehouse building with a few garage bay and a couple dozen picnic tables between inside and out. About 11 beers on tap, the 2 I had were solid.

This place is great! Fun games, and dogs allowed. Chill people, too. Beers focus on lagers, but lots of limited stuff is also on tap most of the time. Worth the trip.

Stopped here in the middle of a summer thunderstorm around 130PM. Entered through the back end of the brewery where the entire wall opens up, creating a cool vibe in the midst of torrential downpour. Vibe at the time was subdued as there were only a handful of others in the tasting room space. Great view of the brewing operation on the right side with a large tasting space to the left in front of the bar.
Presentation of the space was expected for the vibe I think they are capturing - recaptured industrial space with a tasting room/bar/brewery multi-use feel.
Quality of the brews was above average with the Czech Pils, Machine, highlighting the tasting flight. Amongst the rest, Terrarium was notable.
Service was good for the minimal interaction we needed after ordering a full flight of brews.
Selection of brews seemed to be bunched in two categories - pils/lager and ipa renditions with their Trashmaster stout rounding it out. I would have liked to try the canned brown ale available for drinking in the tasting space but ran out of time.
Overall - a great brewery/tasting room space available that I'm sure sees much more traffic in better conditions and at traditionally busier times (not on a Tuesday afternoon).

A quick beer grab stop-in before leaving beautiful Portland. The vibe was relaxed and friendly, the service was super nice and informative. Selection was slightly limited with 4 taps and 3 or four more canned to go options but the quality is rather excellent. Next time I'm in Portland I will stop by for a much longer visit.

Bunker is stand alone building, think small garage with brewing equipment in it. Huge outdoor patio space. In the same area as Rising Tide, so not that good. A few beers on tape but cheap tasters and there were selling cans to go. Weirdly cool vibe in this place.

This is a small little building that looks like it may have been an old garage. Dark woods inside make the place a bit darker than other places. Brewery equipment fills every space. Only three beers on draft but all were good. It was nice and quiet until a beer tour bus arrived with 15 people, and then it felt a bit too crowded for the space. This is a unique space out of the normal tourist downtown Portland area, but worthy of a long walk or short cab ride since Rising Tide is right around the corner.

Kind of an odd little place - great to see a building reclaimed from obscurity and probable demolition. A little hard to find and parking was limited and not obvious. Quite dingy and poorly lit with everything jammed into small quarters. If the garage door hadn't been open, it would have been depressing. Seemed like a pretty local hangout - got the "ya'll ain't from around here" feeling when walking in the door, but the brewer was very friendly and appreciative of the positive comments on the one beer he had left. It looked like it had been a long day. Worth the stop just for the Machine Czeck Pils - I thought this was an outstanding example of the style. So I scored the selection a 3 - not sure what o make of the fact that they only had one beer available, but small place with limited capacity - not sure what else to say about that. If they only make one beer at a time, that's all they can serve...
