The pour is golden yellow with a medium level of carbonation. The taste is grains, malted barley, along with a touch of grass, hops, and boiled broccoli. Cheers! B

One of my favourite German lagers. Zesty, nettley, sweet with a little iron bitterness.

Bottle purchased at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.

This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells quite bready and toasty, with a touch of spicy hops on the aroma too.

This feels like exactly what I imagine when I think of a good helles – it’s almost perfect. There’s just enough peppery hop character, with a touch of lemon rind. But it’s mostly wonderfully toasty and complex bready malt flavor – just like the best baked bread in liquid form.

This is lighter bodied, clean, crisp, and just insanely drinkable.

This is one of the best helles lagers, and honestly, lagers in general, that I’ve had in a while now.

500 ml. bottle
On label: 04 .09 .25 L112551
(Best by 4th of September this year?)

Moderate pour yields a one inch white head over a very bright golden body with lacing.

Nose of bread, slight toast and grain.

Taste of peppery grain with a slightly earth, lemony finish.

Medium to full mouthfeel with more than decent carbonation.

Overall, a beautifully bright Helles that I would highly recommend to all!

Cheers!!

Not bad for a German brew! This was a delightful discovery.

Bready grassy aroma sets the tone. Gorgeous straw gold color. The taste was just perfect.

Gut ßtuff.

peculiar helles, picked up in the carry out off license in carrigline, very peppery and lemony, with a nice white bread malt backbone and some caramel in there too, not bad.

Classic Helles from a decent German brewery. Sweet, malty and a pinch of dry hose. Golden and clear, decent carbonation. Slightly nutty in the afters. Perfectly decent.

Pretty straightforward German lager with a head that covers the surface, but quite loosely. Nose is grain, mineral and light orchard fruit. Taste brings the fruit aspect forward while the grain plays the role of a thread throughout. Back end has a little minerality to it, finishing cleanly and semi-dry.

Pale yellow, clear, small bubbles, head thin and not stable
with foam there is the typical noble hops herbal smell, after it fades there is only Pilsener malt left, clean though,
Tastewise it impresses by a classic marriage of noble hops and Pilsener malt, like the hopping
Goes down smooth with its fine carbonation, some warming alcohol
Refreshing classic Helles, very drinkable
