Firkin, not cask.
Pours an opaque brown black with a modest khaki head that lingers as a layer of foam.
Cinnamon dominates the aroma, with a hint of cocoa and light roast adding contrast.
Flavor is cinnamon dominant, fairly roasty mid palate, and finishing with cocoa and light bitterness.
Body is a touch full, with light alcohol warmth.
There's a bit of a dark fruit note that I associate with warm roast malt beers, and cinnamon overpowers, but it's fairly pleasant, otherwise. May be better on draft.
