A: Pours a hazy, murky amber with a wispy white head that recedes quickly.
S: Mild, layered aromas of caramel, nougat, biscuit, cream, grass, lemon, lime, and orange present themselves on the nose.
T: A gentle entry reveals delicate notes of caramel, cream, brown sugar, nougat, biscuit, grass, herbs, lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit. The finish is pleasant and smooth, offering mild notes of caramel, cream, orange, lemon, and lime.
M: On the lighter side of medium in body, milky, and smooth. Carbonation seems almost nonexistent. This ale needs a little more firmness in the mouth.
O: I'm not a huge amber ale fan, and I'm really not all that taken with the regular version of this ale, but this is not bad.
