I had a can of this purchased from the local brewpub in 2021. My notes, verbatim: "Tastes like yesterday's coffee. Could use a bit of sweetness. Or chocolate, or milk. Think thin, cold, old coffee." Not good and not repeated.

Dark brown and color with a slight tan head. Nice coffee, aroma and flavors. I get a little bit of malt bite on the back end. Also a slight bitterness.

Definition of medium quality coffee stout. Strong coffee and roasted malt taste. Dry and not sweet.

Solid coffee stout, but extra points on head retention -- I poured a can into a glass and forgot about it for 45 minutes. When I came back, it still had a head on it, and the lacing is top notch.

For when the dessert course calls for both a nightcap and a washer-downer, The West Sixth Brewing team joins forces with the roasters at Magic Beans for a beer that's both a pick-me-up and a put-me-down.
Simply names Magic Beans Coffee Stout, the nearly jet black beer pours with a creamy mocha whipped froth. Its roasty, toasty and robust scent is a medley of dark roast coffee, walnut, gently burnt sugars and a slightness of cream. Under the roast, the malt sweetness gently rolls onto the tongue with caramel, toffee and pleasantly burnt cream.
As the sweetness slowly drifts away, the heavy coffee aromas build upon the middle palate with the earthen, soilish and nutty qualities of black walnut, chicory and a subtle waft of campfire. A mild fruitiness stems from fermentation with berry and cherry nuances before a broad and woodsy late palate of hops pretend to be coffee and cocoa-like as well.
Creamy, smooth and trending malty dry, the full bodied beer retains a surprising sense of drinkability due to its hoppy woodsiness, mild roast astringency and kahlua-like spice that lightens the textures and allows for a great sense of drinkability, even down to an extended walnut and smoldering finish.

From the growler in a snifter. This nice stout pours a medium brownish black
with a thin khaki head that subsides to a thin ring and shows light lacing. Nose
of rich coffee, light char, and dark cocoa. Flavors of chocolate, light char, dark
cold pressed coffee, and subtle cream with a touch of vanilla. Nice mouth feel,
lightly slick, medium low carbonation, lightly coating, and a roasted coffee finish.
Overall, a solid stout worthy of having again.
Cheers
