12 ounce can, looks like the canning date is 11/12/21 but it's kinda smudged so I can't tell for sure. Liked it when I had it on tap at the brewery when I was there a few weeks ago so I bought a 4-pack to take home. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like coffee, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, chile peppers and roasted malt. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some cream and burnt/charred malt flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Smooth and easy to drink. I did like this more on tap as I thought that version had more of a spicy kick, but the canned version is tasty too. Definitely worth trying if you like chili pepper stouts, wouldn't mind buying this again in the future!

Mexican hot chocolate meets imperial stout as one of the hottest trends in beer making takes the "pastry" stout past the West Sixth Brewery. Generous amounts of Mexican coffee dabbles in vanilla, cocoa, cinnamon, milk sugars and the peppers of ancho and pasilla for a complex, warming and highly satisfying dessert beer.
Pitch black and with an onyx, mirror-like sheen, Mexican Mocha Imperial Coffee Stout builds a rich honeycomb cap before releasing a bold and robust scent of coffee, chocolate, roasted nutiness, burnt cream and peppery spice. Its taste is a verbose malt collection of burnt honey, sorghum and burnt cream.
Candied walnut, medium roast coffee and a woodsy chicory-like spice follows up the sweetness with a toasty, roasty malt complement. The chili spices bring a peppery warmth that balances the lingering sweetness with a pep of brightness that's decorated with cinnamon to complete the Mexican Hot Chocolate intent.
Full bodied, cream and with a dry roasted aridness, the imperial stout has a nougat-like center with an expresso finish. Heated with kahlua, chilies and a simmering alcohol warmth, the beer's after palate is fueled by a coffee and spice tandem.
