If its the deep fall then its imperial stout release season. And if its West Sixth, I don't want none unless its Snake Buns hon.
Rich and espresso-like in its appearance, Snake Buns looks similar to old motor oil pouring from the tap. A patient layering of mocha marshmallow fluff tops the stout while seductive whiffs of dark chocolate emit immediately. As a lavish chocolate and maple flavor serenades the tastebuds, gentle wafts of vanilla, caramel and sweet cream roll over the early palate.
Decadence ensues as the thick and chewy stout seeps deeply into the tastebuds with its rich and fudgy center. Espresso laded latte and smoky cocoa weaves seamlessly into the chocolate and maple as bourbonesque caramels and booze-soak char give a glimpse into the beer's more powerful offerings.
As bourbon warmth simmers from below, the fullness of the beer clings to the palate and is reluctant to release. With an eternal finish of bittersweet chocolate, maple and bourbon, the late taste is decorated with faint grilled fruit and a slight spicy tannins.

The latest BA variant of Snake Eyes goes for cinnamon buns, aging in a coconut rum barrel with vanilla, cinnamon and lactose.
It's an expected quality of pour, and the nose really sells it, without any excessive sweetness or booze. Much like most of the variants, it's a tad thin, but the flavors deliver early and often. More than a taster, though, brings a heavy-handed cinnamon note that can get dry on the finish.
