Poured from 750 mL bottle into snifter.
A: Pours a very dark brown with a thin skim of tan head that quickly recedes.
S: Dark roast coffee with a hint of cream, smooth dark chocolate, toasted hazelnuts, and roasted malt.
T: Smooth dark roast coffee with cream and dark chocolate with toasted hazelnuts and almonds.
M: Medium body. Roasted sweetness with mild bitterness and subtle creamy feel.
D: Decent example of style. Nice coffee note.

Great chocolate/coffee nose, with a hint of barrel. Flavors are spot-on with plenty of chocolate, coffee, barrel, and a hint of bourbon. The body is light, expected for the 9%.
