Just in time for summer, no one rings in the season of pride like West Sixth Brewing. Playfully acidic, fruity with raspberry and balanced with a hint of vanilla, the season for equality now has a flavor.
Pride Y'all jumps right out with a light mauve hue and a hazy appearance. As partly fizzy, partly frothy head appears, the zesty scent of berry, wine, cider and and light cream all come together in a summery perfume. Light sweetness greets the tongue with mild hints of taffy, wafer and light cream.
Highly refreshing and caught somewhere between tart and sour, the simple but clean sour ale pops with raspberry in its most radiant, fresh and vine ripened sense. As a lighter hint of vanilla adds balance against the growing tartness, the acidity plays off like a sparkling rosé wine with a dry cidery tone in its waning moments.
Light, crisp and refreshing, the beer is a perfect thirst quencher that's well suited for hotter weather and street festivals for all. It finishes fruity and tart with a light linger of apple and berry.
