can from 2nd (?) batch of 2022. Good nose that imparts the name, but the vanilla is barely there until it hits room temp, and even then it's lacking.

12 ounce can, date on the bottom is smudged. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this one! Served in a Teku, the beer pours a very dark brown color with about a couple inch frothy tan head that stayed around for a long time. Lots of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like fudge, vanilla, bourbon, dark bread, coconut and roasted malt. Taste pretty much follows the aroma, but there's also the addition of some oak, caramel and burnt/charred malt flavors. All the flavors seem well balanced to me, with no one flavor overpowering the others. Does lean sweeter tasting. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. This is a pretty tasty barrel aged brown ale, hoping West Sixth brings this one back sometime!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This more than solid brew pours a dark
and murky blackish brown with a dark cola highlights and a thick head
of light kahki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and shows
some nice light lacing. Nose of bourbon, oak, vanilla, coconut (???), dark
chocolate, subtle dark berry notes, and faint dark coffee and roasted malts.
Flavors hit the mark with vanilla, oak, bourbon, dark coffee touches, dark
chocolate, toasted coconut, light cream, brulee, and moderate char notes.
Mouth feel is medium verging on medium full, light carbonation, smooth,
moderately warming, and finishing medium dry with a nice bourbon
touch.

Overall, a solid well made brown ale! Not too sweet and well balanced.

NICE!

Cheers
