This IPA, brewed and dry hopped with Mosaic, Strata, and Citra hops, is massively hop forward with big juicy notes of tropical fruit, citrus and melon, with a slight resiny dank note.

We interrupt your regularly scheduled beer review for this important message: West Sixth has developed a new channel of hop combinations, circulating around the hops of Mosaic, Citra and Strata for new flavor programming of passionfruit and pot.
Pale and hazy, gold, Hop Static Ch 10 hits the glass with a frothy amber pour that quickly floats a stark white foam. As its hoppy bouquet rolls off of the rim, the nose is stricken with a sharp citrus, tangy, dank and plump perfume. But more gentle in its sweetness, the upstart of malt is light with caramel, granola and light toast.
But as those hops bloom on the middle palate, the beer's sweetness starts to drift and the hoppy fruit impressions give off bold flavors of tangerine, pink grapefruit and a racy nuance of lime. juicy with pineapple and apricot, the beer's nearly imperial strength status is rounded with bruised nectarine and and over-ripe tropical flavors. Trending crisp and bitter, the late taste is spicy with hemp and dry with peppery pine, citrus peel, grassy and dank botanicals.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the beer's crisp and refreshing bitterness is nuanced with gin-like spruce and pine resins. For those who seek an update to more bitter and more dry, then this beer is worthy of binging.
