Caught somewhere between hazy and bitter, West Sixth rolls out the best of both worlds with a juicy IPA laced with Citra, Mosaic, Cryo Citra and Cryo Mosaic hops and a pep of lactose for roundness and smoothness.
Pouring a golden chrome in color, Lazerwave releases a creamy white froth and a boisterous scent of citrus, tropical fruit and melon. Along with an herbal twinge of the nose, the first sip brings a light and bready-sweet taste of bread crust, nuttiness and toast to suggest granola.
With the malt sweetness relaxing on the middle palate, the hops rebound to provide bold citrus flavors of lime, white grapefruit and orange. Hints of pineapple, mango and apricot bring a dry tropical fruit flavor before the juiciness of cantaloup and lactose keep the juices flowing.
Medium bodied, rounded and yet trending dry and bitter, the late palate shows a continued development of hops toward spruce, tea leaf, fresh grass clippings and fruit peels before finishing mostly dry and bitter.

Straw yellow in color with thin white head. Nose is full of citrus. Taste is also very citrusy with a bit of pine. The sweetness is there just not overbearing. Could use more bitterness on back.
