A unique beer in the Hop Static series dryhopped with Riwaka, Cashmere and Strata. With a lighter body than previous Channel relases and a very fruity hop profile, this is a very quaffable hoppy IPA

12oz can, Duvel tulip, canned 9/25/24.
Glowing dark gold that’s a bit hazy and a sticky finger of white head.
It’s a nice sticky, strong, hoppy nose! Mango, pineapple, stone fruit.
Nice blend of juicy and bitter. The mango is a dominant element. There’s some green leafiness and a nice dose of bitterness. Finally, it finishes drying and a bit gritty.
Medium body with medium carbonation.
This brewery is on my radar now for IPAs and pale ales. I’ll look for more in this series when I travel to KY. Nice example of a West Coast IPA, which is rare these days even when a beer is labeled as such.

Exceptionally well done West Coast even through Kentucky has no coast. Colro, nose and taste all fit the bill for a WCIPA. Nice dankness on nose and good bitterness!
