If the static created from all the IPAs out there has your head as scrambled as your tv signal, the let West Sixth help with a more bitter series of beer that tests various hop combination for your tasting pleasure.
The twelfth channel of Hop Static tests out Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe- a comma and true combination of flavors that celebrate this pale golden ale. As the aromas of citrus, tropical, stone fruit and spruce rests above a soft white crown, the first sip leads into a dry caramel, honey, toast and nutty malt underpinning. But the trio of hops manifest from scent to taste, the boldness of pink grapefruit, orange, and lime set a citrusy stage. More tropical with dried pineapple, mango, passionfruit and starfruit, the tropical flavors invite more stone fruit character of apricot and peach to round out the fruit cocktail. Shifting toward bitterness, the drying ale quickly favors a stern piney finish with peppery grasses and hemp trailing closely behind.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the beer seems west coat in nature with the focus on dryness and bitterness in a long and gripping aftertaste.

Very clear amber color. Nice off white head. Nose is pure dankness and piney goodness. Nice bitterness across palate very good WCIPA. Hopefully this stays on menu.
