Pours clear golden in color. Nose is pure darkness. Taste is pine, citrus and dank as well. Moderate bitterness that build across entire palate. Well done.

Please do not adjust your tastebuds. That fuzzy feeling on the tongue is just the hops coming through loud and clear. Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic hops all come together for the type of static that hop lovers crave.
Hop Static Ch. 14 pours with a lightly hazy, bubbly golden appearance just as a fluffy white cap builds on top. A radiant scent of citrus, tropical, berry and mixed greens swirls on the nose, the flavors open with a mild mannered sweetness of fresh bread, honey and faint caramel. With the malt sweetness fading quickly, there's plenty of room for the hops to operate with their distinct flavors of pink grapefruit, lime and orange peel ahead of mango, passionfruit and pineapple rind. Finishing up with the bitterness of fruit peel, a greener bite brings pine resins, peppery grasses and a stemmy lemongrass herb.
Medium bodied and trending dry, the ale foregoes much of its famous hop flavor in favor of a drier, sharper bitterness for fans of more western IPA.
