330 ml bottle, as By the Horns Wolfie Smith Amber IPA, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 5.2%. Deep golden colour, large white head. Nice hoppy aroma of grapefruit, spruce and pine. Soft mouthffeel. Flavour of smoke, ashes, pine and sharp bittering hops. Not good, unbalanced.

Pours a medium amber (beer is based on the Wolfie Smith Amber Ale) with thick light tan foam that remains and laces. From the nose, they certainly dry hopped the ale, but it seems pretty straightforward. I get more cascade than the tropical hop aroma/flavor they mention on the label. Taste...is this my homebrew? It tastes just like it. That's neither great nor bad. Decent bitterness and mouthfeel up front, and somewhat balance by the amber ale malt. However, a harsher bitterness lingers and hangs on the back of the tongue. Overall, just okay.
