Serving: 12 oz can (stamped "best by 09/17") poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass.
Appearance: Hazy golden amber with rocky, frothy head of persistent off white foam, and nice clumpy lace.
Smell: Subdued aroma of malt, caramel and mellow tropical fruit.
Taste: Interesting malt profile of salty dark caramel - full without being overly sweet. Dank hops, faint tropical fruit and pine resin along with just enough bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium body and carbonation.
Overall: A decent DIPA with interesting malt focus; hops lean towards dank and earthy rather than bright fruit.
