32 oz. half-growler filled on-tap at Premium Draught in Houston, TX
L: hazy yellow, a half shade darker than lemonade, topped with huge fuffy head of white foam that sticks and laces a little; plenty of carbonation keeps a full skin about 1/4-inch tall
S: grapefruit, green onion, pineapple
T: grapefruit, grapefruit peel, orange peel; aftertaste has a lingering earthy bitterness ... earthy in line with the citrus peel
F: amazingly soft considering how much carbonation it has ... a plush liquid marshmallow up front with a late-swallow crispness
O: so, so good ... I wanted a good American pale ale, and this brew delivers; the flavor lacks the bigger malty sweetness of the IPA or DIPA, which I wanted, and at 4.2% ABV, it almost is in the true session range, so my only issue is I didn't get a full growler -- or just wheel the keg out of Premium Draught
