As the name implies, this beer is brewed with coffee from our local roaster on Deer Isle. Caramel, Chocolate, Munich Malts and Roasted Barley combine in a deeply complex and full flavor. All that malt is balanced out with additions of Chinook, Cascade, Centennial and Crystal Hops

Dark brown color where light passes through the edge of the glass faintly. Rich frothy head. A mixture of thick and thin lines of lace.
Mostly coffee aroma with some chalk. Quite dry.
The taste starts off like Baker's chocolate but morphs into black coffee. Thin bodied like dry Irish Stouts. This one is definitely carbonated (as opposed to nitro). It isn't as smooth as the Irish versions.
