Core has only been brewing since 2010, but they are already far and away the largest brewery in the state. They are an excellent marketing and distribution strategy (they have pubs in 5 towns now, and one at XNA airport that will be opening in three weeks, and are planning on putting one in Central Arkansas soon). They are in Missouri, Kansas, and Tennessee as well, as well as in Texarkana, albeit only on this side of the line to my knowledge. Core has been instrumental in bringing the craft beer movement, and more specifically the local beer movement, to the Natural State, and while they most certainly don't brew the best beer in the state, most everything they have put out has been pretty solid.
The brewery itself is pretty simple and small, although they are expanding, spanning across a couple of warehouse-like buildings. All the employees are cool and knowledgeable and they give thorough tours all the time. The bar/tasting room is pretty sweet, with an outdoor patio area, and they always have a ton of beers on tap to try.

Great atmosphere, brewery is located in an industrial part of town, but the tap room is very inviting. The patio is great, live music which was a bonus. The staff were very passionate, and knew their stuff. Beer selection was wide and quality was well above average. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Unimpressive brew-pub, but a couple of their beers are tasty.

Best microbrew I've been to in this part of the country. Fantastic selection and the beer is damn good. I'll give it 4.75 across the board.

In many ways Core is "typical." The location is in a rather industrial area; decor is typical brewery stuff; layout is nothing unusual.
BUT I really liked this place. Some places are simply inviting, and make you want to dive into the experience. It's hard to describe, but they just have intangible qualities. Core made me want to drink beer, enjoy beer, learn about beer, try new beers, etc. The staff was VERY helpful. I heard a lot of questions from patrons, and some of them might have even been classified as dumb questions, but the staff responded like champs every single time. And their beers are good. That never hurts.

Awesome people behind the counter and around the brewery in general. Got to take a guided tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tried nearly all their beers and learned quite a bit about beer in general. Really kickstarted my desire to learn more about craft beers.
I haven't been able to make time to volunteer, but would love to do so in the future! They do sell doggie treats stamped with their Core dachshund logo. My dog, ironically a dachshund, loved the treats. Great treats avialable for both man and his best friend!

Very fun brewery and distillery run by great mean who really care about beer and having a great product. You are sure to find something you like from their wide selection of beers. From the live music to the outside patio with corn hole (baggo) its a great place to spend a lazy weekend with friends or family.
