Bottle I brought to share at Skuter's tasting.
Pours a murky honey orange with a foamy tan head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of orange juice concentrate, citrus zest, and floral aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour orange juice, citrus zest, and floral flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with interesting orange juice hop qualities all around and a slight tartness that works with everything going on in this one.
Serving type: bottle.

Attractive golden color with persistent foam and lacing in the Maredsous goblet. Spicy and flowery aroma. Light body with plenty of spritz on the tongue.
Interestingly different kind of hop flavor. Blackberries, jasmine tea, papaya. Slightly sweet and distinctly fruity. Orange and lime peel emerge after some sipping. Quite tangy and sharp.
This is one of my favorite IPAs this year. It's just an unusual and pleasing fruity hoppiness with a modest bitterness. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Texas Liquors in Carlsbad.
