Had a taster at the brewery in San Marcos. Really enjoyed this one. Very dark, nice flavor.

On tap at Fifty Seven Degrees. Big foamy head on the black stuff in the pint shaker. Quite frothy in the mouth with a featherweight body. Some warm and sugary malt greets the lips. There is not much real darkness in this Schwarzbier. Very slight graiiny aroma.
Some faint blackened barley, but not much of a roasted flavor. a hint of chocolate. Glupable but not memorable. Not much hop flavor and just a slight bitterish aftertaste. IBUs are rated at 28.
07-30-2014 update: I opened a 22 oz bottle of this stuff I had bought a couple months ago and kept in the refrigerator. Total bacterial, so I would beware unless you're sure it's a new batch.
