Handsome golden amber color with plenty of foam. Not as sweet as the typical Marzen, I would say. Still it's rather malty. The pleasant sudsy mouthfeel buoys it up as well. Light beery aroma.
Warm cereal taste with just a hint of hops. So drinkable and not so flabby like these Oktoberfest things often are. Resiny finish. Did you ever notice how close this is to Sausagefeet? From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Whole Foods in Laguna Beach.
