Pours a clear, dark brown color. One inch head of an off-tan color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, roasted malt, hint of pale malt, and a hint of hop. Fits the style of a Baltic Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of earthy malt, caramel malt, sweet malt, hint of hop, hint of roasted malt, and a hint of wheat. Overall, good appearance, but lacking any semblance of tartness. Weak aroma and average body at best.

On tap. Poured an opaque, jet black color with a small, light brown head. Smelled of roasted malt, chocolate and smoke. Good roasty flavor with chocolate and burnt molasses taste.
