According to Norse mythology, Sif is a goddess and none other than the wife of Thor. So what does Sif have to do with the beer you’re drinking? Sif was a blonde haired beauty, the goddess of grain and embodies the essence of our blonde ale, brewed to a light straw color, displaying the flavors of bread and grain. We add two late additions of hops to bring forth the light citrus aroma. This beer is our “gateway” beer; light enough for those new to the craft beer scene but flavorful enough for the veteran craft beer drinker.

A - Poured a cloudy, golden-yellow color with a one-finger, off white head of bubbly foam. It left patchy trails of lace on the glass.
S - Good sweet caramel smell with some floral notes and pine.
T - Hoppier and more bitter than most blonde ales. I has good spiciness with some sweet caramel and toasty notes.
M - It was crisp, sharp and smooth. A medium bodied ale with a dry, clean finish.
O - This is a really tasty blonde ale. Way more hop bite than most of the style. A great session brew from Rock Bridge.
