Comes out of the cask a somewhat hazy golden amber - not much head, but that is apparently an artifact of the pour. Malty aroma has a firm fruity note and a hint of caramel. Flavor fills the mouth with apple, pear and malt plus a bitter undertone and hints of hops and caramel. Smooth texture has average body and fizz. Enjoyable if not outstanding.
