I know pepper beers are an acquired taste for most people. I have always like the pepper stouts but just recently found like I do like a good pepper IPA.
The alcohol was well hidden. I would not guess that it was 11+ abv. I also liked that although it was spicy, it was not as hot as some other pepper IPAs I have had. My one knock on it would be was that the hop character wasn't great. It almost tasted like the hops had faded although this beer was pretty fresh.
