Fresh Coast – Juicy Pale Ale
Look:
First pour was crystal clear golden with large CO₂ bubbles and a fully covering white head that held reasonably well.
Last pour (6-month-old can) changed dramatically — noticeable floaty particulate and haze. It almost felt like two different beers in one can. Likely settled hop matter or yeast roused in the final pour.
Aroma:
Citrus orange forward with a slightly sharp edge — almost a chlorine-like brightness.
Taste:
Orange, orange peel, mild pine resin, light bitterness with a noticeable malt presence.
Bright, clean, and lighter than the others. The carbonation adds a little bite.
Impression:
When tasted alone, it’s solid and refreshing. When revisited after the IPA and hazy, it falls into the “lighter, cleaner, more restrained” category. This is the most approachable and crisp of the three.

12 oz can canned 5/9/24 into a Becker glass.
L: SRM 11.5 Pours pure candy caramel color with steady carbonation, a thin slightly off white head that recedes to edge froth, random sticky lacing.
S: A lightly dank hop note, a hint of caramelized malts, lightly fruity.
T: A light mix of fruits, a light zest note, a hint of white grape, subtle pear, a dash of caramelized malts, bready in the finish. It is gently pale and bitter.
F: Juicy medium to medium-light bodied mouthfeel and has a smooth medium-length soft drying finish.
O: A mild beer overall. Nice mellow tastes and feel. Good balance and is easy to drink. It is very good in its style.

12oz can. Bottom date stamp is 'CANNED ON 10/12/2023', so drinking after eight months in the can. Purchased as a single at DeVine Liquors in River Falls WI.
Slightly cloudy, deep gold colored body. Two fingers of off white head, which becomes a partial cap and high ring. No sediment. Leaves behind partial lacing rings.
Aroma of malt, pineapple, and orange.
Taste has a good malt base, and hop flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, orange, and a little pine resin. Bitterness is moderate.
A little less than medium mouth feel. Dry finish. Bitterness lingers as a grapefruit pith. Very good carbonation.
A very easy drinking pale ale. May be a little faded due to age, which calls for a re-review of a fresher can.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from the Woodman's in Onalaska, Wisconsin. It poured a clear golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had fresh fresh pineapple notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with pineapple presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Here's an enjoyable beer from the 2022 Wisconsin trip. 3 Sheeps seems reliable across a few of my favorite styles. This was no different.
Pours a dark golden yellow color into light amber synonymous with beer. 1/2" white head. Served on tap. Has a current of orange, grapefruit and guava. Leans more citrus than tropical. Neither one are in super plentiful amounts, but sufficient enough to be distinct enough to pull it out aroma wise before tasting.
The taste completely follows the nose, no surprises, Amarillo and Citra teeming up to give the citrus nod at a 2:1 ratio over Mosaic. Seems to be in the same quantity the three of them that is. Its a mild guava contingent. Beyond window shopping, but not full on purchase point of sale. Body is light and minimal. IBU range feels like 45. Not sure about the "juicy" designation, but this seemed like a decent west coast pale ale.
This is a good pale ale. Not quite top tier, its really about the only thing missing in Wisconsin is an elite level pale ale, and yes, Moon Man is quite good, but rarely seen in my world.
