I got a bottle of this beer off the single shelf from a beer store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It poured an opaque dark with thin tan ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had sweet chocolate and caramel malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tiramasu flare. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

Pours an oily black resolving to thin, tan lacing.
Smell is roasted malt and cocoa.
Taste is slightly sweet, some roasted malt and a milky bitter chocolate finish.
Not sweet enough.

Pours a thick black color. 2 finger tan head. Retention is good, and there's a bit of lacing on the glass.
The nose has a nice dark chocolate aroma, with a hint of lactose.
Taste - Nice lactose, and chocolate going on here. Not extremely strong, but nice.
Body is decent, about right where it should be.
Not bad at all, maybe a bit more chocolate and lactose needed, but not bad overall.

For a chocolate milk stout I expected this to be a lot sweeter than it is. It has your average stout flavors but it is overly bitter and as other reviewers mentioned it tastes like bakers/melting chocolate. Not my cup of tea.

Has a nice color to it.

Smells like milk and not much else.

like another reviewer said, it tastes roasty with no other real flavor to it. It sort of tastes like the type of chocolate you buy just for melting. Anybody who accidentally ate that stuff as a kid knows what kind of disappointment I'm talking about. Any sweetness I would want from this beer just isn't there.

The mouth feel is nice and thick, but it doesn't matter much when the flavor is so disappointing.

Overall, it isn't repulsive, I didn't pour it down the drain, but I also can't imagine giving this more than a 2/5.

Pours dark brown, head disappeared to just a ring

Vague roasty notes in the nose, not getting much else

Flavors muted, roasted malt and...like nothing else really

Nice smooth mouthfeel, I'll give it that

Nothing much here, standard stout but flavors weak.

12 oz bottle slit with my wife. Looks like a standard milk stout with a dark appearance and tan head. The aroma features the expected dark malt/coffee/chocolate but also a really weird component, almost rotten or fecal. It wasn't strong but was quite off-putting. I ended trying to drink the beer without smelling. Thankfully the unpleasant smell did not come through in the flavor. The mouthfeel is thin and way under-carbonated. My wife seemed to enjoy this beer much more than I did.

Appearance - The beer poured a dark brownish black with a slight tan head.

Smell - The beer smelled like weak chocolate milk. In other words, it was chocolate milk without chocolate.

Taste - My first impression was that this tastes like milk mixed with chocolate. Of course, this is just two steps away from pickles and milk. I think I might have detect a hint of chocolate, or perhaps my stomach was just confused because it thought I was drinking a chocolate milk stout.

Mouthfeel - There was a milky smoothness with a high level of carbonation. The overall body was thin. It was like seltzer milk!

Overall - I normally like 3 Sheep beer, but this was gross.

More coffee than chocolate despite the name. That aside, very drinkable

Brownish black body with a light brown ring and lacing. Belgian chocolate, roasted malts, lactose, licorice, and slight coffee in the nose. Taste I get a lot of dirt, coffee, roasted malt, rust, and to a lesser degree chocolate syrup, ash, licorice, and lactose. Body is watery, thin, cool, roasted, and sweet. Not a do over

3 Sheeps Bon Bon Chocolate Milk Stout, 5.5% ABV. Pours black with a one finger tan head that left slight lacing. Nose is lactose and light chocolate. Taste is mostly lactose, slight roast malt, slight chocolate, slight bitter close. Mouthfeel is thin and a bit over-carbonated, but smooth. Overall Excellent.
