12oz can. Can bottom is stamped '2021 8.7% ALC/VOL'.
Black colored body, with reddish brown back lit edge. Momentary tan head. No lacing.
Aroma of woody raspberry and chocolate. Bourbon barrel is lacking.
Taste is raspberry and chocolate. Slightly sweet. In the later stages of the profile there is a hint of bourbon barrel and vanilla.
Medium mouth feel. Well hidden higher ABV%. Quiet carbonation.
Representative raspberry and chocolate flavors (slightly sweet), but the bourbon barrel is lacking.

Pours dark brown with a small to moderate chocolate colored head that dissipates quickly and leaves nothing behind. Aromas of raspberry and dark chocolate. The taste punches with strong raspberry, dark chocolate, some sweetness from lactose and mild bourbon. A dessert beer for those in love with chocolate raspberries.

One of my favorite in this category. Like it more than the Bon Bon.
