This New England Double IPA is full of those wonderful flavors of Sabro hops - big, bright notes of tangerine, coconut, and stone fruits for a strong tropical punch, plus hints of cedar and mint give Sabroso a unique and amazingly flavor experience.

Canned 7/21/23 (1 month ago)

Appearance: Pours a semi-hazy (30% clarity) medium orange color with a strong white head that lingers.

Aroma: Strong aromas of tropical orange, pineapple, with some hints of peach and coconut.

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange and pineapple upfront. Then a strong coconut, kiwi, tangerine note comes through the middle. Some pina colada. Sweet peach, pineapple, coconut off the finish.

Feel: Medium to heavier bodied, no hints of alcohol. Creamy and smooth, sweet finish.

Overall: Another exceptional NEIPA from 3 Sheeps. Great showcase of the Sabro hop flavor which I've been enjoying lately. Tropical pineapple, coconut, kiwi, pina colada flavors. Smooth and creamy in 3 Sheeps fashion. Pushing the limits on the ABV, but if anyone can do it, probably 3 Sheeps.

Even before the first sip, the first whiff* off the glass -- fresh from the tap -- was a winner. Then the first sip confirmed the first impression. Hoppy - hoppy - hops-hops-hops**!
The science of hops- the art in hops- is a marvelous discovery of these recent decades. Has the craft reached perfection? Judging by this IIPA, I would think YES. Absolutely.

(*)Smell = "only" 4.75, because the overpowering whiff fades as you start drinking the beer.
