Pours Black coffee... With a full tan head and tiny bubbles rising
Taste: From the first dried smoothness... With a nice roasty nut round grain sweetness... But more smooth and soothing than sweet
There's a full mouth feel but it's not heavy not sure how to describe that except it's smooth like a lactose like a milk stout they're not sporting it but it's more nutty than that...
Complex roasted flavors I can't wait this for this to open up a little I poured it too cold but it doesn't feel cold with all of the finishing plateo.
Mouthfeel:
This is very pleasant and black malt does not dominate There's a fair amount of chocolate and nutty and sweet... I don't want to say caramel... But just malty sweetnessThere's just a nice pallet of flavors... I should buy six... I wouldn't hesitate... I mean it's not a summer beer probably... But it would tolerate a cold chill and a hot summer day.... I was trying to decode the can It was lost on me until I read stouts are like cribbage boards you can't have just one That's where the 15-2 peg and track come in....
Sheboygan hey?! Yep you know... It's on the lake there.... Over there by the three sheeps... Yah that one there... This one becomes unforgettable now
.. And I'm going to say this could be Grandpa's stout... He would get the joke
Overall: yep!

Had on tap. Lighter black body with a tan cap. Smells of the classic combo of roasted malt, dark chocolate, earth and coffee grounds. Taste adds a hint of cherry skin, but otherwise the same. Very nice balance continues in the well rounded body, good roast and malt tones. A nice throwback stout

Excellent American Stout, and this coming from a Hoppy IPA-ophile. That is most likely because of the very exquisite balance that 15-2 offers. For fellow Hoppy IPA-ophiles who want something different, this will seem new and familiar at the same time.

From Beer Drop, no dating on the can.
It pours black with a huge head of tan foam, very good lacing.
The smell is dark and milk chocolate, roasted malt, coffee.
The taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee, slightly sweet, more of a bitter thing going on. Some lactose I'm guessing..
Medium bodied, quite delicious Stout.

From a can. Pours a dark brown black with a tall tan head. Smells of coffee and mild roast. The taste is also coffee and roasty with a slight nuttiness. Smooth drinking.

3 Sheeps?
Why not sheep?
Heck, I don't even play cribbage so I shouldn't be one to ask that but this was just odd and intriguing enough to get when I was up in Rice Lake, Wisconsin not too long ago. Marketplace Foods had this and the label was enough to draw me in as I was drawn into this offering. Sure, this checked off all the boxes for the style but there wasn't anything noteworthy or outstanding about this as this turned out to be *too* plain and pedestrian for something that could have been a bit bolder.
As to be expected, this poured as dark a brown as could be with plenty of full, mocha head topping the liquid off. Any suds left behind in my goblet slid down the side of it as I was hoping for a bit more body to this. A bit of roasted malt, milk chocolate, and cream were in the nose as the taste closely followed suit. A bit of fig and cherry entered the fray once this fully warmed up, as this was equally slick and cloying without any overt strength in the taste. Moderately carbonated, the previous reviewer was right in that this was like a Irish Dry Stout, without the roasted aspect. Only a hint of that was on my breath after I finished this off as this could have been more warming to the senses.
Just like it's even-keeled nature, the alcohol was quite subdued as I only felt a bit of it kick in after I finished this off. This was dated 3/24 on the bottom of the can, as I took a risk when buying it over six months later. Thankfully, there wasn't any hint of skunk or floaties with the end result being a brew that I'd reach for again, should I want a mellow American Stout. All I need to do is brush up on my cribbage scoring beforehand!

Well this has to be the first cribbage inspired beer I'm aware of ever having. Love ya grammamamama! Shit I only missed being the first one to review the beer by a half an hour.
Pours black. Makes a huge cherry cola color like head on top, like over 1". Big. The aroma is straight up roasted malt and a very light dark fruit impression.
Taste imparts even more of the roasted malt. Like I am straight up having a good time bro. Its been awhile since I just had a "stout". No adjuncts, no barrels, no bullshit. This one is like the best of both worlds, it has the sessionability and dryness of an Irish stout, but with more heft and Americana to it. Well enough, at over 7%, it still drinks plenty easy, especially in comparison w some of those nerd pastry imperialized quadruple barreled ones. Nerds. Carbonation on point. I think this is a beer where everything they did about it is on point. Totally what they were probably going for.
This was a single picked up from Avenue Liquors in Milwaukee, or as I call the place, Airport Liquors (because its by the airport).

On tap in Wisconsin. Smooth and malty with only a slight aftertaste. Not alcohol forward for the ABV. Sessionable for a porter. A bit lacking in flavor but a good example.
