Appearance: Pours a mostly clouded (25% clarity) medium orange/golden color with a large and thick white head that lingers. SRM of 7-8. (4.00
Aroma: Strong aromas of lush orange, lime, pineapple, and passionfruit.
Flavor: Strong flavor sof orange, tangerine, honey upfront. Some orange flower, sweet lime, and tropical melon and stonefruit notes. Finishes with sweet orange and honey.
Feel: Heavier-bodied, appropriate carbontion. Hides the alcohol well. Orange honey, malt, and sweetness linger.
Overall: Picked up this fresh imperial IPA from 3 Sheeps the other day and excited to try it in my new taster glass I purchased at their taproom last weekend. Citra, Cashmere, plus Trident which I am less familiiar with. Orange honey, lime, passionfruit notes. Comes together nicely. Sweet, but smooth and hides the ABV well. Fresh and a good imperial IPA.
