Cuvee Blend 2024 showcase beer from four barrels:
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (aged 21 months)
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (aged 30 months)
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout (aged 33 months)
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout (aged 36 months)
This beer is so different and interesting than any blend we've done. You'll find more flavors of oak and woodiness than in years past, while the flavors normally associated with bourbon are subdued. Without hyperbole, this is probably our favorite Cuvee we've ever done.

Appearance: Pours completely dark black color with a moderate dark tan head. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of earthy oak and wood mixed with fudge and dark cocoa upfront. Some dark grains and hints of vanilla. Hints of dark fruit. (4.00)
Flavor; Strong and intense aromas upfront of earth, oak, wood mixed with grains, cocoa, some espresso, and strong alcohol. Then the rich fudge and chocolate behind that. (4.00)
Feel: Heavy bodied, lower to average carbonation. Heavy, sweet, and hot booze linger. (4.00)
Overall: This is a blend of four fantastic BBA Stouts with an emphasis on the wood and oak flavors. Pours dark, thick, and the head is milder because of this. Intense aromas and flavors. It was really hot right out of the bottle, but taming down extremely nicely as it sits for a few minutes. Rich dark cocoa, earth, oak, fudge. The bourbon heat is settling allowing for a smooth and rich body. Not an expert at these, but I can tell this is an incredible BBA stout. I would not miss this brewery if you are in Wisconsin.
