Appearance: Pours a completely dark, black color with a thick and rich tan head. SRM of 24. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of cocoa and bourbon upfront. A syrup and bourbon sweetness follows with wafting maple syrup, french toast, vanilla, and fudge. Hints of espresso roast. (4.25)
Flavor: Flavor has rich cocoa, chocolate and fudge upfront that is balanced by maple syrup and bourbon. The more bourbon and heat in the middle before a sweet vanilla, chocolate, fudge sweetness to balance. (4.00 will improve with time)
Feel: Heavier-body, appropriate carbonation. Thick, sweet, and shows the bourbon heat off the end. (3.75 will improve with time)
Overall: First review at the 2026 version fresh off the shelf. Tons of complex fudge, chocolate, and maple syrup and vanilla flavors here balanced by a strong amount of bourbon and heat still being fresh in 2026. Outstanding and this is only going to get better with time. Will be an absolute masterpiece 6-12 months from now, but I'm early to the party so don't be that guy. 3 Sheeps is the best to do it.
