I have had a few of Marten's beers before...they claim to be brewed in Belgium but I seriously doubt that all of them are.
This looks pretty impressive, perfect colour for a blonde and smooth, perfectly formed head. Aroma unfortunatly is very unhoppy and kind of like roses.
Quite a unique taste. Roses certainly dominate. I have no idea how they managed to find hops that taste exactly like roses. But they have. Rose essential oil and rose water is exactly this flavour, and is one of the highest vibrationally oils found in nature, and perfect for curing illnesses. I shall certainly drink this often, even though it tastes like roses.
It's valentines night. And for a strange coincidence, I have just discovered a beer that tastes like roses. Wow. Who needs evil Ukrainian bitches when you can have a beer that tastes like roses?
This has a totally unique flavour. Do I hate it? No. I actually really like it. It has a perfect hoppiness to balance the rose...literally perfectly. And it's still crisp and refreshing. This is a totally unique and amazing beer. Seriously. Hidden on a lower shelf in a massive supermarket. I usually hate Blonde beers...this is the only blonde beer that I think I like. They have managed to create a unique element with the hops, with some clever bitterness, and the unique rose taste. Really impressive. Whoever creates this beer is a true master. Thank you for saving my valentines night, respect. C'est une blonde magnifique bien sur.
