Hazed straw yellow with a slight blush of green. I found more emphasis on yeasts in defining the taste and aroma than I might have cared for. A strict stylistic interpretation of a Helles lager would similarly be difficult to appease due to a subdued malt-grain presence. And my pint could have used a bit more carbonation.
But if youre looking for a predominantly yeasty, light-bodied, and slightly fruity lager with Hallertau bittering, you might find this one suited to your tastes.
