From the bottle, it pours a ruby brown color with a modest head, soon reducing to a ring and islands. Grain in the nose. Roasted grain in the mouth as well.

Bland and uninteresting, light aroma and taste of roast grains. Taste is rather weak also. Pours dark brown with spare beige head. Palate is lingering bitterness of roast grains/coffee.

33cl bottle poured into my Celebrator chalice.
BBE 07/2011
A- Mahogany brown/ruby body with excellent clarity. 1 finger head that reduces to a crown quickly. Lacing is average at best.
S- Malt taking the form of a light toffee/caramel with a pleasant hint of vanilla
T- Sweet characteristics of the malt presence swiftly makes way for the toasted side. Finish is clean with a hint of alcohol but doesnt turn to heat.
M- Clean, moderate carbonation and body.
D- Appearance is a let down but the malt character is very good alongside a clean mouthfeel making this a tasty satisfying bock
