Obtained from a Casino Supermarket on the South of France, the 50cl can clearly stated it was brewed for this Supermarket chain and was 7%ABV.
Opened during a ’heavy can tasting evening’ in my mates holiday villa on 17th Sep 2013: we shared each can (but still woke up hung-over). Looked fine in our tumblers, golden, clean and clear with a thin white covering on each glass.
The nose had hints of sweet pale malts and other grains, as did the taste, this is a semi-sweet brew with enough alcohol to cut through what flavour there was in the beer.
A cheap supermarket beer (but not cheap in the South of France) in every way. Against Amsterdam Navigator, Rince Cochon and Kronenbourg 7.2 it came in second to last, the Navigator being far too sweet for it’s own good.

Cheap but tasty. A typical strong lager - malty sweet, and it gets you stoned. Clear golden colored with a huge white head. Malty aroma of grain and sulphur. Malty flavour of grain and hay. A few off-flavors. Slips down soft and sweet. If you like alcoholic sugar, you’ll love this. Very average and probably better if in a bottle.
