Pours a medium golden amber with a one finger white head with good retention and lacing; looks nice for a light lager. Mild aroma of grainy malt, a little apple and lemon and mild grassy hops. Flavor is attenuated grainy malt, a hint of caramel and apple juice. Finishes watery with slight grassy hops. Light bodied with sharp carbonation. The look of this one got my hopes up, but the aroma did not promise much; the flavor didn’t even deliver that. Really tastes watered down. There is some decent grain malt and mild hops in there somewhere, but the finish has stark grain despite its low flavor throughout. Drinkable but forgetable. This one deserved its clear bottle.
