500ml bottle from Pitlochry:
Quite a dark, murky brown bordering on black with a huge, tan brown head that increases in size & ends up about 5 inches tall & dome shaped. It's dark smelling with roasted notes, a little malted barely & a subtle nutty sweetness with hints of chocolate at the end. The taste is similar but a little more subdued & watered down with sweet malts, caramel & roasted flavours with a chocolate backing again but nothing stands out here sadly. Its definitely quite a watery, bland feeling beer with little carbonation & only a faint sweetness at the end to finish; a good start but then the wheels came off.
