Brewed exclusively for the grocery stores Maxi ICA Stormarknad in Motala, Norrköping and Linköping.
Some gushing occurs when the cap is off.
The colour is amber-brown (35 EBC), the liquid hazy. The low head quickly sinks down to a thin white lid, leaving no lacing.
The smell is sweet with some wort-y notes. Cream and butter, yesty phenols and some citric hops. But the sharp sweetness dominates.
The taste is bitter-sour with some wort and caramel. Some butter-cream and hints of yeast. Grapefruit and lemon peels in the background. Medium body. The aftertaste got growing notes of bakers yeast and dried fruits. Medium, somewhat frowsy bitterness. Caramel and biscuits in the finish as well as hints of earth and moldering leaves.
The carbonation is strong and short-lived. Mid-sized sharp bubbles. The liquid is smooth and a little sticky.
I guess that this beer got some kind of infection going on.
