On tap, poured into a stemmed sampler. The aroma is smokey with roasted coffee hints, dark fruit, caramel and a late dash of nuts; very porter like. It pours a deep cola brown with an off white soap head that has good retention and lace. The taste is a medium sweet and medium bitter; the bitter strengthens late. The texture is thin with a sudsy carbonation and a medium body. Roasty flavors of coffee are strong, with secondary notes of bread and grapes. It's finish is bready with a light herb and grapes with it's aftertaste being mellow burnt bread and grain.
